Mind Body Wellness Counseling

Hi, I'm Amanda Marconi, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and the founder of MindBody Wellness Counseling. I have been helpingindividuals navigate life's challenges for over 15 years and have been in private practice since 2016. I currently provide telehealth therapy for adults living in Colorado and Florida.

Originally from Ridgefield, Connecticut, I moved to Boston to attend Northeastern University, where I earned my Bachelor of Science in Sociology in 2008. I later received my Master of Social Work from Boston University Wheelock College in 2012. During graduate school, I worked as a clinicaltherapist and advocate at a trauma center outsideof Boston, providing mental health counselingand support for survivors of trauma and domestic violence. This experience solidified my passion forhelping people heal from difficult life experiences.

Earlier in my career, I worked at Step By Step Supportive Services, a residential program serving adults living with serious mental illness and developmental disabilities. From 2009 to 2014, I provided case management, therapy, and independent living support, and later served as the Director of Outreach Services, overseeing theprogram and supporting both clients and staff.

After relocating to Colorado in 2014, I joined the Mental Health Center of Denver as an outpatient therapist, where I provided individual therapy for adults experiencing severe mental illness and substance use disorders. In 2017, I transitioned to The Medical Center of Aurora as a Crisis Assessment Clinician, conducting psychiatricevaluations in HealthONE emergency departments and helping individuals access appropriate levels of psychiatric care during times of crisis.

In 2016, I founded Mind Body Wellness Counseling with the goal of providing compassionate, evidence-based therapy in a supportive and collaborativeenvironment. I specialize in trauma recoveryand also work with individuals experiencinganxiety, depression, mood disorders, personality disorders, and other emotional challenges.

My therapeutic approach is grounded in the belief that emotional and physical well-being are deeply connected. I integrate evidence-based modalities, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP), while tailoring treatment to each client's unique needs. My style is collaborative, solution-focused, and centered on helping clients build resilience, develop practical coping strategies, and create meaningful, lasting change.

Whether you're working through trauma, managinganxiety or depression, or simply feeling stuck, my goal is to provide a safe, nonjudgmentalspace where you feel supported, understood, and empowered throughout your healing journey.
